Chevrolet Volt Starting Debut in China



From the U.S. auto giants General Motors prepared to do a world tour promoting their latest release car Chevrolet Volt. Volt is GM's first vehicle-based production of hybrid electric vehicles.

GM saw the Chinese market in the last year and a half to be one of the largest automotive market to play a key role in GM's plan to develop the Volt.

According to China Car Times, the Chinese market will soon enter the Volt in this month, was officially launched on August 31. However, for sales at about the beginning of 2011.

Volt production is handled by the same American engineers are building a model for the domestic market in America. However, GM will bring the Volt to be assembled in China as well, depending on the evolution of cars in China, as an effort to increase production and meet consumer demand.

In the United States, the Volt will be priced at $ 41,000 or $ 33,500 after deducting the full income tax credit the federal state.

Customers also can benefit from leasing program that allows them to repay the Volt for 350 USD for 36 months with only $ 2,500 down payment.

Chevrolet Volt will be sold in several American cities such as California, New York, Michigan, Connecticut, Texas, New Jersey and Washington DC. Chevrolet previously attempted to attract buyers from China by using the Electric Volt MPV5 concept unveiled at Auto China 2010 is demonstration Voltec propulsion system.
